Gold on gray...

#greatgrayowl #wildlifephotography #borealforest
Stayed with this great gray for half an hour as it worked the roadside ditches — drop to a post, scan, glide, reset. No rush, no wasted motion. Thirty minutes watching a hunter that treats patience as a weapon, and I walked away having learned

For all anime fans- comment how many tails this animal has?

No matter how bright, looks like even wildlife likes to soak in some sun in the cold❄️ My first red fox encounter in the wild! We saw it run around in the snow for almost 30mins before it decided it was time for a 😴

Star trails over Mesa arch before sunrise 🌞
This spot has been made famous for the iconic sunrise from here which lights up the underside of the arch. Because of the dark sky here, I decided to get here much earlier to do some stargazing b
